Can you tell me the name of the movie set in the US during the world war ll era. Asian boy and Caucasian girl fall in love but are forbidden to see each other. I think she pretends to kill herself and he thinks she did so ends up killing himself. I remember my mother watching this on TV when I was a teenager back in the 1960s. Thank you
