During the entire period the company was composed of 25,000 shares of cumulative, 2% preferred stock, $80 par, and 100,000 Shares of common stok, $4 par.
I need to calculate the totl dividends and per share dividends for each year.

Calculated Preferred dividends is simple. Simply take the number of shares * the par value * 2% to get total Preferred dividends for each period.

Now for Common shares simply take the total dividends for each period minus the Preferred Dividends to get dividends available to Common Shareholders.

Now take the Dividends available to Common Sharehoders divided by the shares issued and outstanding to get the Dividend per share amount.
