I have a 2001 Honda CIvic ex. The panel light sometime comes on and off as well as radio. Once I turn it off and the car went complete it dead. I had to wait for like 20 minute and the car start on like nothing happen. I took it to auto zone and Advance and the battery, alternator was OK like new and there was no code. Can someone tell me what this might be? I need help?

If by panel light you mean the dash lights went out, the ignition switch may be failing. Check it for wear and pitting--replace, if necessary.

Yes, it sounds like the ignition switch/harness is bad. Here's how to replace it:

Ignition Switch Replacement

1. Disconnect negative battery cable.

2. Remove dashboard lower cover and knee bolster.

3. Disconnect 5-P connector from under dash fuse box and 7-P connector from main wiring harness.

4. Remove steering column covers.

5. Insert key and turn it to "0".

6. Remove two screws from switch and replace.
