I have naturally black hair and I dyed the underneath of my hair burgundy without bleaching it and it doesn't show up at all. How do I dye my hair burgundy or at least a lighter brown without using bleach?

Well when you have natural black hair you can't really dye your hair any color that will really show up pass a tint of color in the sun. What you need to do is to lighten your natural hair color BEFORE you dye it. I've used "Sun In" to help my hair lighten up from dark brown to a strawberry blonde color. You can use that and Then dye your hair when it's lighter so the color you want will show up. Hope this helps, Good luck! :)
