Hey.I'm 18 and my period is continually. Now and then it stops for a few days. But around ones in a month the bleding gets so strong for a 2-3 days and I have to stay home sick. The bleding is lumpy, and some of the lumps are as big as lemon. I have general felling of weaknes. The is amust Intolerable in the moment. I read it could be a high Level of Hormones, or even Cervix problems. Beside telling me I should see a doctor, Any advice?

You need to see a doctor! Sorry. LOL

I went through this myself at your age and it can often be regulated by low-dose birth control pills. The lumps are the tissue sloughing off. For some reason you and I and a lot of other women have bodies that believe they're pregnant when they're not, and the pain and cramping and even nausea that goes with the body's recognition that it's not really pregnant are very similar to a miscarriage.

But given the fact that your period seems to flow non-stop, there's also a possibility that you may have polyps inside your uterus that can easily be removed by a D&C, which is an outpatient procedure. I also had that problem, and it was not a happy time at all. If I'd known how simple a D&C was, I'd have jumped on that right away.

But, again, you need the doctor to look at you and figure out which problem you're having. You can get this under control with the help of your gyn, but not much else you do will make any difference.

Good luck!
