I thought I fixed the problem with the car losing power, but after replacing the fuel filter and the oxygen censer which made it so I could drive it it has now stopped and will not start. This only happened when going up hill.

If the Check Engine Light comes on for 2 seconds and then goes out, when the ignition switch is turned to ON (Position II), then the problem is likely with the distributor. Replacing the Ignition Control Module (ICM) and coil inside the distributor housing usually solves the problem. Be sure to apply silicone heat transfer grease to the back of the new ICM.

No engine light today it did come on yesterday, but went out and has not come back on. I read something about fuse box and rivet that may have something to do with my issue.

Okay. With that information, see if you can fix it. Try my suggestion only if you get desperate.

Can you possible refreah the comments about the rivet? Something about having to resoider rivet, not sure if this was under dash board or in the engine compartment.

They are likely talking about resoldering cold solder joints on the main relay's PCB.
