I have a boyfriend but lately it feels like we never spend time together. I've tried talking to him about it but I feel it's going nowhere. It ends in an argument all the time and he starts calling me horrible names. I feel so alone and am starting to feel like the name calling is true. I love him but I'm alone, lost, upset, and angry all the time.

I would be mad to if I was ignored and called names. I would also get over love with a darn fool and get a better more fun boyfriend.

How old are you both? Maybe he is just to young for the mature relationship, and love doesn't mean taking crap, and being called names for sure.

If anyone "calls you names" you walk.

Never mind what age you are; that is not acceptable.

We are both 23 sometimes his amazing to me he treats me like a princess other days I feel like nothing to him I just don't understand I'm his first girlfriend but his not my first, we live together and I feel I'm doing everything working full time and running a house I get do upset seeing my friends party and enjoy life when I'm running a house. I love living with him

But there had to be a different way of doing it?

Don't allow bad behavior. Don't let others define you. Always do your thing and be good to yourself, not just him. Never be afraid to speak your peace, or stand up for yourself. If there are no children between you, then there is no excuse for not having a life that you enjoy without him.

He has no experience, and may never change, but through communications you can make adjustments, and hope he can too! He will if he wants to. If NOT! On to the next adventure in life, if this doesn't work. Like you say you are 23, and can make your own decisions for yourself.

You don't have to depend on his good graces to be happy, he can barely make himself happy, and needs to learn a lot. Especially about what you will tolerate, and what you will NOT. So teach him, and good Luck!

Maybe it's time I stand up for myself or move on?

I would say so, I mean you can be miserable all by yourself. You don't need some one to do it for you.
