Two days ago I sold my car. My check engine light was on along with the speedomeder not working. As far as I knew the milage was still working but I'm not positive... anyways they were very much aware of the probles with the car and still purchased it. I sold it "as is" and on the title I wrote how many miles it had but did not check the box "stating the milage is correct". Am I suppose to refund them for the money of the car? I told them that I was not giving the money back because I didn't sell them something they didn't want, as far as I knew they wanted it, they purchased it, so I just need some help... information if I did the right thing. Any suggestions? Thanks :)

Why are they looking for their money back?
In general, a contract is binding unless there is a reason otherwise. If you sold them a car which had been disguised or falsified in some way, then they would have a case, but if they just didn't go a thorough check before buying and now find there are more problems than they were expecting, they no, they don't get to give the car back.

No, you are not supposed to, and will not have to unless they can come up with a better reason than they have. I suspect they are simply experiencing "buyers' remorse". Don't loose any sleep over it.
