Picked up a programmable one but it was too big to fit back into the box. Had to settle for a basic dial-type. Any ideas/suggestions?

Be sure to turn off breaker to furnace before starting
Tag or mark in some way what each color wire as to what post it was removed from so you can put in right place on new tstat
