I want to get married to my boyfriend but I don't want my parents to know. Is there any way they can find out? I'm a 20 years old student, French and I want to get married in the Uk.

Can you, sure, lie, get married and pretend not to be married.
Should you, no, if you are old enough to get married you should be mature enough to not be ashamed of getting married. If I was your partner I would not even consider it, if you were so ashamed of me, that you would not tell anyone that you were married to me.

The problem is that they won't agree with it, saying I'm too young and still studying.. It's not that I'm ashamed of my partner.

If you think that you're old enough to get married and take on those responsibilities, then you are old enough to take on the responsibility to stand up to your parents and tell them.
On the other hand... why rush into it? Why not wait until you are done with your studies?

If you will not stand for what you want to do, if you can not tell your parents, then perhaps they are right, you are not old enough. Since a adult would be able to tell others of their choices and not want to hide it.

I can't wait until I'm done with my studies because my boyfriend's visa expires soon and if we don't get married now, he would go back to his country, I just don't want to loose him. See my situation now, it's not that easy.. But I agree with you though. I should take my responsibilities..
