There is one parent at my daughters school who has been very rude to me. These past few weeks she abruptly stomps by me and doesn't even say hello makes no eye contact. We always attended school functions in the past and were very friendly and even helped out together. I expressed concern to another parent this parent didn't call me to help for a particular function that she was incharge of and that was all that was said. I don't know if she added fuel to the fire and told the parent in question something different but all of a sudden she started ignoring me. I approached her and she brushed me off and I'm having a hard time dealing with it. Any suggestions?

Why are you having a hard time dealing with it, just let it go. School moms are not required to like each other, in fact it would be very unusual if all moms got along,
If you just must know, go over to her house and talk to her. If not, just forget it

You did the right thing by approaching her. May I ask, though, how you approached her? Did you actually have a chance to say 'Have I offended you in any way... '? It is common that women tend to first talk to other women about hard feelings and it can worsen situations. I understand your feelings. Just keep in mind that you know you didn't do anything wrong. Obviously she has a problem. Is seeking harmony between the two of you worth it for you?

Swiss B- I approached her nicely, but I could sense tension. I guess I tend to analyze everything to death. I just have to let it go and if she chooses to ignore me then that's her problem.

See, you actually have the answer to your own question. Talking about personality types - since you like to analyze everything... to death :-)... I suggest the following website to understand yourself even better and to see what other personality types there are and which ones react in this or that way, which personality types tend to match and which ones absolutely don't. It's www.ipersonic.com. Could also be helpful to find peace within yourself and to help you let go.

Thanks SwissB, If I don't let go of it, it will consume me, and your right its her problem. Fr.C your right too who says I have to be friends with her anyway

Thanks Fr Chuck, I don't know why I'm bothering obsessing about it. We are not required to get along! I find its best to mind my own business anyway
