I remember watching a movie when I was a young kid (over 30 years ago) and I have no idea what the movie was called- I don't think I even watched the entire movie... Here is what I remember- a baby girl was left outside a house in a basket- the baby girl is taken care of by this new family- I recall a scene when the girl is older (grade school) and was perhaps being sent away to a girls school but was tripped by an older boy in the house that didn't want her to leave (messed up so she was not accepted into the school)? The girl and this older boy grow up- the boy/ man leaves for the army (or college- can't remember), but promises to come back for the girl... I also recall a scene when the girl is older and is walking down the street and fall into a man hole- the boy/man who comes back can't find this girl... I don't remember much else- I was very young, but I don't know how the movie ends? This movie was on TV- I believe it was in color and the woman was very attractive- at least I thought she was (I think she was blonde)... Thank for helping...
