Why we can't feel the atmospheric pressure presses on our body?

Why we can't feel the atmospheric pressure presses on our body?

Basically I think it is because the atmosphere exerts a pressure on our bodies while our bodies exert and equal pressure back. Hence homeostasis is maintained.

A biologist would be better able to explain the process better. No doubt it is a lot more complicated than that.
