My PC runs XP and frequently has a huge chunk of it's CPU being sucked up by a process named abrdrv.exe
I can't find any references to this on the web. Does anyone know what it does?
Can I get rid of it?

Hey I haven't heard of this before but did it come up after you downloaded or installed a program? If so, find out which programme and associate it, otherwise, its adware and you need to run a good spyware program 2 delete it. Run an anti virus check on the file its located in as well. If all fails, open computer in safe mode, go 2 file and delete it.

It's probably a good idea to run a spyware remover and a virus scanner anyway just to make sure all is good. I recommend Giant AntiSpyware which is available at the link below and also www.trendmicro.com and use their free online virus scanner. It's one of the best virus removers that I have seen. It catches things that Norton and McAfee do not.
