Hello:

Sometimes I'm guy "A", and sometimes I'm guy "B". I don't like guy "B". He's shy, introverted, can't make conversation, and couldn't get laid if his life depended on it.

Then there's guy "A". He's very cool. He writes on this website. People like him. He's successful. He's glib. He's got women all over him.

Now, the REAL me, is guy "A" - I hope. But, I go back and forth seemingly uncontrollably. I want to STAY guy "A". Or should I just write a country tune about it?

Yeah, right.. It's MORE than you wanted to know... MOST times I AM guy "A". I'm him right now. Want to see? But, as I look back upon my life, I've seen guy "B" pop up at the MOST inopportune moments..

As an example... Guy "A", in the course of living a tremendous life, meets a very beautiful and successful Hollywood actress. She's all over him. He makes a date with her, and when he gets there, guy "B" shows up.

That's not "guy a" or "guy b", that's "real life guy in front of real people" and "anonymous guy on the internet".

If only we could have the courage and confidence face to face, rather than coming from typing words. It is a luxury to edit, delete, redo, etc. and it isn't really what you'd call spontaneous.

I've known more than a few who develop great online relationships, but, when it comes time to meet, it is a big question mark as to how you will be perceived, and judged. Over time, maybe both the part A of us, and the part B, sync up. It is learning about a real live person, rather than one who has only words to offer.

I am a basket case when I feel like part B, because I lack confidence, but, part A comes out now and then, and when it does, I've stopped people in their tracks with a speech. That's where your knowledge, personality, charisma, etc. comes into play. For me to just have people read a prepared speech, is not the same as seeing me and hearing it in person.

So the two maybe are the same side of the coin. You are the total of ALL the parts. Separating one side from the other or one part for another part, isn't the total shebang.

My guess is, if you'd met the movie start in a nice honkey tonk bar, after a few beer, you'd have no trouble whatsoever communicating.

Part A- meet Part B- he's a great guy.

If only we could have the courage and confidence face to face, rather than coming from typing words. Hello J:

That's not it. I'm talking real life guy "A", and real life guy "B". I'm not an internet dating kind of guy. He'd be guy "F".

You're Guy A on the phone (personal experience), and I heard testimonies from a Gal A's sis that you are an A also plus an enthusiastic host and generous lover.

Guy A:

And you're darn cute too. In the next life you will be able to do that.
