The other day I had received my W-2 from my employer at Wendy's and when I got home I opened it to look at the forms and noticed that I have no information in the federal income tax withheld box. I went to Wendy's to find out information on that, but all they gave me was a number and told me to call this person. I have tried since then with no luck in getting through to anyone so if anyone can help me out I would much appreciate it. Oh and my company does direct deposits and they sometimes don't give me my check stubs so I can't find out what my wages were before my W-2 was given to me, which the stub would have dated around the 20th or so when I got my deposit.

Thanks for listening any help would be much appreciated.

So was there any Federal Tax withheld? If your check is small, and you are claiming married or a larger number of dependents, there may not be any withheld.

Also on direct deposit, they supply a check stub, if you don't ask for it, that is really your issue. You can check to see if stubs are available online.

If there is nothing in that box, it would seem to say they have not held anything out.
