The dryer has been making a loud squealing noise for a while. Lastnight while he dryer was on it suddenly made a loud noise and just stopped working and now the dryer will not start or rotate. What does this sound like?

Without being in front of the appliance to diagnose I would say the bearing and pulley system (possibly the belt) has been damaged and is preventing the unit from freely turning. This is definitely not a DIY job. You would need to contact your manufacturer and schedule a service appointment.
