I have a box with 2 light switches in my basement. One it is 3 way and the other one it's a regular. I want to install a box (4 outlets) to connect my typewriter, etc.

Can some one explain how to do it step y step, I can't find anything in the internet.

You must have one heck of a typewritr if you need four receptacle outlets for it. :)

We need some basic information from you.

For example, where are you going to get the power source from.

You cannot use the switches because tey can on;y furnish you with the hot leg. You would still need the neutral leg and ground.

Switches do not use a neutral, The simply feed the power from the source to the switch and then return it the device, if you have a switch loop.

If the power is being sent to the switch and then on to the device, you could pigtail the receptacle to the supply wire and then pigtail the unsed neutral wire.

Can some one explain how to do it step y step, I can't find anything in the internet.Rather than giving step by step, wire by wire, instructions I will suggest you go out and get a few good books on home wiring.

IMO simply asking for step by step instructions is not a good way to teach. There is much that can be missed, and not seeing or knowing the installation and setting there are code issues that may be overlooked.
