I got a question. I have an old Homart gas fired furnace model # 735-201, serial # 21373-L-56 Sears Roebuck Co. Chicago, Illinois. My motor doesn't seem to work propertly, it makes that noise, sounds like its hitting something, my landlord said he ordered new motor fan and he said he got the receipt but then he told us they don't make parts for it. So I'm like how do you get a receipt on something they don't make. I need to find out if they make parts for it or not. Thanks for any help.

I`m sure they make something to replace it,, tell him to remove the old motor and take it with him to grangers,, state electric ,or most anywhere that sells motors,, they can match it with something

Replacement blower motors are readily available at furnace repair shops and distributors.

You landlord should plan on removing the blower motor assembly from the furnace, then removing the motor from the blower motor assembly.

Take the motor and any mounting brackets that attach the motor to the fan assembly to an outfit like Grainer and they can fix you up with a suitable replacement.
