I'm 14 and have had protected sex with my boyfriend 3 times. I'm the only person he has had sex with and says he has gotten tested for STD's before and he was negative. I trust him. But I've always had discharge. I think I first started getting it in 4th grade, but lately I have noticed that my discharge is like a light yellow and has an odor. I have no pain urinating by the way. I'm supposed to get my period sometime this week. Is this a sign it maybe coming? I notice during class my underwear feels wet so I check it out and there's yellow marks in the lining. I read somewhere the discharge can turn yellow due to air. Help?

This happens to a lot of girls so don't worry! The discharge cleans the inside of the vagina during the time you don't have your period. If its quite heavy then you could try using liners during the day instead of huge pads so the smell won't be as bad. The only time you should worry is if your vagina is itchy or the discharge is lumpy or white as these can be signs of thrush. It might be worth booking a doc appointment to be safe and they might even give you cream or proper advice! Hope it helps x

First most likely the boy is lying to you, if he never had sex with anyone else, why would he have gotten a test for STD's. So if he did get tested it was because he was having sex and was concerned about it. How old is the boyfriend?

Are you on birth control, is he using a condom? Are you ready to be a mother ?
