I had all my teeth 23 of them taken out yesterday. He put me under and he also did the manipulation of the gum and bone to get it ready for my false teeth when I can afford to get them prob in about 6 weeks. Anyway I have taken no pain meds and he didn't give me an antibiotic. Today I am a bit dizzy could this be due to being put under yesterday? The bleeding stopped within a couple hours of being home yesterday. I am sore and swollen a bit and have little bruises on my cheeks and on the inside of my bottom front lip area. It is also swollen under my nose above my upper lip is really tight. But not enough pain to take prescription pain meds. So is the dizziness normal?

Yes, perhaps not "normal" there is no normal we all handle pain and issues differently but yes it is likely that it is from that.

I agree with Fr_Chuck. that's a LOT to have done all at once. And yeah... I believe its going to be sore as heck for at least a few weeks minimum...

Yes, agree. Try to get as much sleep as possible. We heal faster when we are sleeping. I am aurprised no antibiotics though and when you feel like eating it will be a liquid diet because those sockets have to develop clots to heal properly.

Hang in there and be sure to contact you're dr. Should you need any help; we are Here too but can't diagnose anything, just direct you to other proper source.

Thank you so much. I haven't had to take any pain meds yet just took some advil for the swelling to me safe. He said if I start a fever he will give me an antibiotic. He is in his early 60's been doing this for 30 years has a great reputation too. His bedside manner is something more Doctors need these days. I just was worrying about being dizzy. His office is closed today then I stumbled upon this wonderful site.
