You are on parole. That means you could be still in prison, or sent back. Yes, he can yell and curse and be negative when you can't. I don't know what reasons he has but you got to toe the line, show up on time, say yes sir no sir, submit to tests, make no excuses for anything. Just like in jail or the military.

Yes, in fact that is how parole officers are. Just like when you were inside, and had correctional officers, but this one has more power and authority.

A parole officers job is to help you reintegrate to the community, they are suppose to help you if you have questions or resources for employment, education etc. It is a condition of your parole that you work towards being a productive citizen. If he won't let you call for help then he is hindering your ability to be successful. You can look up their duties and responsibilities in the state statutes. He will hold you to your responsibilities so he should be held to his! Important... always be respectful and never give attitude. If you need take a approved family member to your office visits with you as a witness and then you have a solid foundation. He may get angry because your not letting him be better than you, because he is not! If so file a complaint and always have your butt covered! You earned your freedom, keep it!
