Bryant thermostat for a gas heater, 2 years old. The digital panel is off. The thermostat isn't working, heater is not starting... Why?

Nothing changed over night, went to bed with everything working and woke to no heat?
Should I just replace the thermostat? Is there a battery in the thermostat?
How do I get online before night fall?

Take the cover off the burner compartment of the furnace. Obtain the make and model of the furnace off the rating plate in the burner compartment and post it here.

Observe the sequence of events that occurs at the furnace when you turn up the thermostat and post that sequence of events in order and in detail.

Morning, the heater is Bryant Plus 80t
The thermostat is blank, it is a digital read out and it is off. So we can't active the heater. It just off.

Questions,
Does tstat have batteries?

You might have a fried transformer
A disconnected or broken wire going to the tstat

You could remove the red,, white, and green wire at the tstat tie them together ,if the furnace runs you`ll know it's the tstat and furnace is OK

No battery in the thermostat. I will test connecting the three wires this evening. Thank you for the tip
