I want to see my children regularly. At the minute my ex (of 7 years) gives me Saturday night and all day Sunday with the children but on 3 out of 4 and whenever she chooses. She promised to give me 6 weeks notice but I currently have 1. I just want confirmed access setting up so I don't have to argue, beg every couple of weeks. I can't afford expensive court fees, what should I do.

You can file on your own at the court where your issues have been in. If you have never been married nor been to court then you would use the local court where the child surrently lives. Pay the filing fee and follow all instructions.

If you are in the US. Locate the legal aid society for your county. Many will help do the paper work for you to file.

Family court is usually not expensive and is user friendly so an attorney may not be necessary. But the only way you will force your ex to comply with visitation is if you have a court order behind it.
