Can anyone tell me hot to run a 220V breaker box to an out bldg 75' from the house. Do I use 10-2 w/grnd to the outbldg? And how do I attach the wires in the new smaller svc box ? Thanks

I'm guessing that you need this information before you can obtain your electrical permit for the job.

First,what is the calculated load for this outbuilding. You need to know that before you can size yoiur cable.

Next, if you are going to feed a secondary panelboard you must use a four wire connection, not a two wire.

You need to have an isolated grounding system set up for the remote building.

You will need either a method to disconnect the power in the outbuilding.

You need to install a light at the entrance/exit of the uilding..

And there is still more to go, but tha should be enough to get you started.
