water coming from the kitchen faucets starts out with good pressure then drops what is the reason for this?
Not sure but if u have a landlord talk to him he will get a plummer
Or talk to a plummer they should fix it for u

Typically a pressure drop like this represents a valve partially closed somewhere or old pipes that have sediment in them. As the faucet sit it develops full pressure and works fine for a very short time but the 'volume' of water is not available to continue this flow rate. Do you have old threaded pipes in your home? [say no or you will have to repipe]. Basically, you have good pressure but a flow [volume] restriction somewhere. It may very well be a piece of debris in the stop [valve] below the sink.

Doug's correct. This sounds like a volume problem. If your pipes are galvanized,(threaded pipes) then chances are they have minerals built on the pipe walls cutting back on the flow. What's worse hot or cold? Rergards, tom
