My 91 accord dx 2 door starts and runs rough, will barely accelerate until warmed up then engine light goes on and runs fine.

1. Check for any codes.
2. Based on age of the vehicle, I would go over the ignition system and replace spark plugs (NGK only), rotor, distributor cap, igniter, and coil.
3. Replace fuel filter.
4. Reset ECM.
