Hello I recently watched a film that was really interesting, wasn't sure on the name though, maybe someone can help me;

Its about a young girl and her mother, her mother has a older male stay over at the house and the young girl flirts with him constantly making him feel uncomftable. The mother then dies of a car crash and the girl is left with the male, he send her to a school but then brings her back out, twiggle anybodys memories? Certainly sounds like Lolita, which has had at least 2 versions made of the Vladimir Nabokov novel. First with James Mason and then with Jeremy Irons.

The novel was first published in 1955, the films were released in 62 and 97. The novel and films are so famous that the name, Lolita, has become a term meaning a flirty, sexually provocative female.teenager.
