I been with this guy for about 5 months, I know not much but for some reason (not sure why) I feel like I'm in love with him. When were good, he makes me so happy even if were at home just watching a movie, I am happy but lately all we've been doing is arguing. I admit that some times I seem to bring up the past (his ex) even though I shouldn't but it's hard not to at times. He did things like, when we first started going out we hung out with his ex girlfriend's family, he even took me to her sister house once (most of her family was there) and he cooked for them. I didn't know who these people were at the time till months later and brought it up. He didn't really react to it at first but ended up apologizing for it later on but I can't seem to stop bringing it up for some reason, I don't do it on purpose but it really breaks my heart that he would even think about doing something like that and think it's OK.

This is a guy who was with her for almost 5 years and this happened about 6 months after they broke up. I understand that they were together for quite awhile but I don't think I would ever bring my new boyfriend to my ex boyfriends family's house, that would be awkward for everyone and disrespectful to him. At least that's how I would see it.

Anyway I forgave him for that but I recently brought this conversation up again and all he keeps saying is I am tired of all this, I'm tired of you bringing up the past. I feel like I'm never going to make you happy. What do you want to do? So what's going to happen? After I told him to stop saying that because it makes me feel like he doesn't want to be with me. Not only that but he said it over the phone, so I hung up and haven't called him back since. It's not the first time he's done this. I don't know what to do, rather to try to work things out or take our own separate ways even though I love him so much. Sometimes I feel like were only going to hurt each other.

PLEASE GIVE ME YOU'RE BEST OPINION, ANY WOULD BE APPRECIATED. THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO DO THIS. GOD BLESS

You hurt each other as YOU are as wong in your actions as he was. If you forgive the past, let go of the past, or this will NEVER work.

Stop bringing up the past, its ruining the NOW!
