I just saw an article about a GA mom who was arrested for allowing her 10 year old child to get a tattoo. Although I personally feel that is too young, the mom felt it was OK because her son was wanting to honor his deceased brother.

This article has started a debate amongst friends. So I am curious if anyone knows which states allow a minor to get a tattoo WITH parental consent? I need current information, within the last year.

Guess she should have traveled to one of the few ( and it did appear very few) that allows tattoo of a minor with permission.

It also means there are 1000s of law breaking teenagers in Georgia alone. I know my own son ( now 33) had one at 16, I did not give permission, he came home with it. But I know several teens with them personally
