My mane blower won't shut donw the furnace won't restart

Not knowing the name brand and model number makes it harder,, your furnace has maybe 2 or three limit switches or rollout switches, some models have a reset button on them some reset automatically, you can check them,, you also might have a furnace with a circuit/control board, see if it (if you have one) has a fuse (Automotive type)

Yep, lots of options here. But wmproop at least narrowed it down for you. Sounds like either a tripped limit, or flame rollout, or bad 3amp fuse on control board, just like he said. Let us know, no?

More information is needed to determine why the furnace isn't starting:

Take the cover off the burner compartment of the furnace. Obtain the make and model of the furnace off the rating plate in the burner compartment and post it here.

Observe the sequence of events that occurs at the furnace when you turn up the thermostat and post that sequence of events in order and in detail.
