Last weekend we began a kitchen renovation. At the end of the weekend the hot water throughout the house was not working (no water coming out). We fixed a leak in one of the lines we had moved and seemed to get water back (although we did not check every tap, shower etc). After two days I went back to the house and again there was no water coming from the hot water faucets. I went out for 3 hours and came home to find the water running again... however the water does not get as hot as it used to and I do not have any water coming from the shower or toilet in the master bathroom (the other bathroom is just fine)... any thoughts would be appreciated.

This has me puzzles me also. Are you on a pump or city water? In the first part of your post you complained about the hoy water. Now you tell me the cold water's affected bas well?
I do not have any water coming from the shower or toilet does this affect the entire house or just a few fixtures. Please post back with more details. Regards, Tom

What are the temps outside? Is there a chance you have some lines freezing up?
