I'm searching for a cartoon series or anime from the 80s or 90s. I don't remember very much of it, but I recall that a dog (a police dog or something like that) was injured and nearly died while saving a kid. I think that the dog then got some kind of prosthetics.
I also remember that the dogs owner got injured two times and the second time his arm had to be replaced by a prosthetic.
Does someone remember that cartoon/anime? Any ideas? I'd really appreciate your help. THANKS!
