Two children A and B of masses 42kg and 34kg respectively are playing "catch me if you can" in a park. At a particular instant, A is running towards north-west at a speed of 5.5m/s and B is heading 60 degree north of east at 6.8m/s. Find the total linear momentum of the system.

Remember that momentun is a vector:

\vec p = m \times \vec v

To find the total momentun of the system you add together the momentum vector of each child, using vector addition.
