We have a Magtag Ice2O with the ice maker in the fridge, model MFI2568AES, purchased in 2007. The round disk at the end of the corkscrew auger keeps popping out of the hole at the end of the ice tray. We have to take out the entire ice tray, dump out the ice, and pop the disk back into the hole. This happens 3-4 times a week and is driving us crazy. It's happened for a few years now. We had a technician out and he basically said we could replace some parts for $200, but it's a bad design and will probably wear out again. Is anyone else having this problem? Any ideas for a fix?

What is the model number. There was a recall on some Maytag Refrigerators.
