I am wondering do you know if there has ever been research or studies done on "who is more sensitive in relationships - guys or girls"?
I feel guys are more sensitive in relationships base on my experience. I think it is a good thing.

I think its all dependent all the person character more than anything and also past experiences, a lot to take into account but I don't think you can generally state who is more sensitive.

Guys are more sensitive.
The percentage of men who commit suicide is extremely high as compared to woman after a divorce.
Men also usually don't have an outlet for there feelings like women do.

Hmm that's interesting...
I think a guy in a relationship where he feels real love is perhaps the most sensitive.
Even though perhaps it does depend a lot on the experiences also as krs says.

Interesting, I agree men don't have the outlet women do. Women are generally more expressive...

I think men have the ability to get more emotionally attached to stability. They like routine and order. Women are generally (I don't mean this in a bad way) more fickle, and more capable of "going with the flow".
When the order that men are attached to breaks down, they fight for the order to be upheld. The attachment to stability will manifest itself as an attachment to the cause of that stability (the woman), and so will come across as sensitivity.
In my experience, men will try more things to keep a relationship going than the woman is prepared to do.
I also agree with KRS, what I said above is a huge generalisation and there will always be many many variations.

<<They like routine and order.>>
They like it ,perhaps.. but they get bored of it easily ;-)
Well guess that depends on the guy also...

I think what you guys are saying depends on age and maturaity too.

I don't know if you should count on the suicide thing. I study abnormal psychology, and just had a midterm on like a bunch of stuff including suicide.
According to my textbook, women are 3x more likely than men to ATTEMPT suicide, while men are 4x more likely to COMPLETE a suicide. This can be because men choose more lethal suicide method than women. This might also be because men are more certain about their intent to suicide, while women might be doing it as a mean to call out for help.
