I have a good sized bump on my head, not the size of a "goose egg" but it's bigger than acne. At first, I thought it might have been a pimple of some sort and just let it be and made sure to wash my hair really well. But recently it's started to crust over with this green crust. Also, tonight after I itched my head, I had a clear puss on my fingers. It was very clearly a puss too and not anything like grease from my hair. I have a picture, I couldn't get my phone to focus very well, but as you can (hopefully) see, there is a red bump. As for a little of my activities, I tumble on Monday nights and practice a little on the weekdays. I live in lower Alabama, but I have noticed this bump for at least a month, when I lived in Atlanta. I have had mono and chicken pox. I also have endometriosis, but that deals with my "lady parts" and I can't imagine that having a cause in this bump. I am currently on Necon (birth control) and Zoloft, for anxiety. What could this be? Are there any home remedies I could try? Should I see a doctor? If so, a dermatologist, my physician, who?
