I am on first offenders probation in Georgia for 10 years to be terminated at half if conditions are met for three felonies. April will make five years. I now have a citation to be in court on March 12 for a misdemeanor. I know this will violate my probation, but will it be violated now or at the time I have a guilty charge? When it does violate my probation would getting a lawyer help to get a punishment other than jail time?

It violates it now, but they may wait to see if you are found guility before they act.
You will lose the first offender status and be subject to sentencing but also the record of these will not be sealed.
So yes this will do it, to violate it. You need an attorney NOW>

My boyfriend received 1st offender for possession of cocaine, and was put on 12 mons probation and 6 mons restricted license and had to pay fines, he had a dirty pee test within that time and has been arrested and sitting in local jail for 38 days now and went in front of judge last week just to get it continued until June, why can't he get out of jail until court date and what will probably happen to him
