Okay, I understand there are loads of "I like this guy" questions but I really want to know what you guys think. So for the last two years there has been this guy in my grade but we never had any classes together and I barely even saw him in passing, but at the beginning of this year it turned out we had one class together and although I thought nothing of it at first,obviously (he was just another guy who came to my school 2 years ago, no big deal, right?) but then he was put into a group with two of my bestfriends for a semester long project while I was in another group. But 1 of my friends that was in his group *Lisa* invited me to help out on there project now and then and so I got to know him quite well, or so I thought.

He was really sweet and he would tease me and I him, and he would put his arms around me and we would always walk together whenever the lot of us would go walking. And deep down I knew he didn't like me and I would always tease him about other girls, and for quite some time I felt nothing towards him, too. But then as it does, I just began really liking him and in the mornings I would even try to look my best for him. *I know, shallow or what?* And we actually became what I would call friends, maybe even good friends?

But then the christmas break happened and I didn't see him for just over two weeks, and when I came back *excited to see him* he was totally cold to me. I would walk by and talk to him and join in conversations he was having with a few of my friends and everything but nothing worked, it was like we had barely ever talked. So once I even called him over to where my group was working *I was in a different group than him and my friends* but he didn't come, he just continued on his group. But then when I was walking in the hallways I would continuously catch him looking at me, but I would always look away first.

Now I'm not sure how I feel towards him and he is slightly warmer to me but not like how he used to be. Can anyone tell me what they think is the problem? Could he have been faking, do you think? I just can't get it out of my head.

Why don't you just turn around and ask this guy if he likes you? If he doesn't then get over yoursef, be confident. And if he does congratulations, happy times, go get married :)

Like you said you missed him, and was excited. I can even understand having a crush on a guy after being around him so much. But he may have other things rolling through his head, and maybe he was being friendly before, and now he is distracted.

Don't assume, just ask him what's been going on and is there anything wrong. He may open up, he may not, and if he doesn't don't push, just back up a bit and give this some time.

As you said, he seems to be warming up again. Maybe that's just his personality.

Ever thought he might like you. I mean, humans can feel bashful towards each other or try to avoid each other due to feeling a bit of attraction.
