We have waited for the little girl to use the bathroom on her own.

She's practically a newborn. Isn't her mother taking care of her? Take a warm, moist cotton cloth and gently rub her bottom/anus to stimulate a BM. Her mother should be licking her in the same way.

Um.. at 6wks, the pup should be pooping like a champ without mom. Mom just eats the poop still.. So no rubbing of bums!

How long have you had this puppy? When have you noticed her not pooping? Is she still eating and drinking?

She could be stressed and stressed dogs will not poop.

Tried and true... Try giving her a chunk of raw meat. Raw red meat will stimulate a BM.. There aren't too many side effects of raw red meat... Examples of raw red meat is hamburger..

You can also feed a teaspoon of raw pumpkin to get her to poop.

Of course, this is all based on whether she is eating.

1/8 of a cup of yogurt might help too..

At 6 weeks I would also strongly advise you to NOT treat at home with the raw red meat or pumpkin and to take the puppy into the vet. But if finances are an issue, those two remedies do work.
