If I rented a commercial place for business and the circuit box is no where to be found is that legal?

Probably not, but they hide 'em pretty good. However, you've got something else going on.. Why don't you tell me what your problem IS, and maybe I can help.. Certainly, in any ORDINARY situation, if you can't find your circuit box, you'd call your LANDLORD. Now, it looks like you want to break your lease...

You may not have access to the circuit box. It may be in another part of the building. It depends on local electrical codes whether access is required. It also depends on the terms of your lease whether you can make any changes to wiring.

I agree with excon, if you have an issue with this explain the issue and we may be able to help.
