Ok. So my husband was arrested back in 1988 for assault. He was sentenced to a year in jail and 3 years probation. He did not finish his probation. I don't know the terms of what happened exactly because he won't tell me, and I wasn't around then. But he fled from Florida to Kentucky, and we now live in Alabama. He just got arrested last night. He isn't being very clear with what is going on. He told me they have him on a 72 hour hold for the old Probation violation. Will Florida come and get him? The warrant for his arrest was issued in 2009. The Florida state website says he is an Absconder/Fugitive. What should I expect?

Most likely yes they will come after him. The 72 hour is just for Fla to decide if they will come or not.

If they do come after him, it may take a few weeks.\
I would be more concerned why he will not tell you the truth of what is going on.
