I have trigeminal neuralgia and would like to know if vitamin B12 would help my nerves

Yes. It must be B12 Methylcobalamin, 1000 mcg sublingual. I take two a day and allow them to dissolve under my tongue, then swallow the little bit of "mush" that they dissolve into.

Two years ago, I had a horrible case of TN for three weeks. I wanted to kill myself, it was so awful, but since taking the B12 have had no more problems. And I researched this very well and carefully before I started on the B12.

Wondergirl - I have always wondered about the B complex. I have read that it's important to get the complex in the ratio they occur in foods, in nature. Do you have thoughts on this?

I take a multi that includes all the B vitamins ("complex") as well as the proper dosages of the vitamins needed in support of the B-complex (potassium, manganese, etc.).
