I am in Florida. I was on 7 years probation for a crime in 2000. During that time I violated my probation. My original crime was in two different counties and they applied them together, "concurrent". When I violated I was sentenced to 13 months prison with all terms and conditions terminated. Upon my release I was placed back on probation for the continuation. I was told that they terminated one county probation and left me on the other. Is this legal? I went in front of the Judge that origianlly sentenced me and he sentenced me to the 13 months, but they reinstated my other county probation. Can they open a con current sentence like that and leave me on probation?
