The pipe from the tub drain going into the concrete is leaking where the concrete and pipe meets. The space between the pipe and tub is about 8". Is there anything that I can do to fix this? Single Mom and on a tight budget. I had to take out the wall behind part of the kitchen cupboard in order to get to it. The space is so small, I almost can't get to it.

Unfortunately, if it is broken off right at the concrete, you will have to chip concrete down until you reach healthy piece of pipe then attach Fernco coupling to it. Back to you. Milo

What do I chip the concrete with? What else besides the cupling am I going to need? I do have primer and glue for PVC pipe. Taking a trip to Lowe's in the morning, so any supply list would be greatly appreciated.

Isalway, you will need a small chisel and a hammer. Carefully chip off concrete around the pipe, about 1" deep. Then, slip onto the exposed pipe either Fernco coupling, then another short piece of plastic pipe on top and tighten it. Continue to the tub drain as needed... Back to you. Milo
