I just had a baby in November and ended up gaining about 70 lbs through out the pregnancy. I also have 2 other children 10 yrs ago and had no problem losing weight back then but now it seems to be a lot harder as I am a stay at home mom now and older. Anyway my boyfriend got me Wii Fit plus so I can try to exercise at home while doing the mommy thing and the kiddies even like watching me try.. But I'm just wondering if I'm wasting my time on this. I have been playing it for 8 days now and have been exhausting myself with it with very minimal results. Also before the pregnancy I was about 110 lbs and I'm about 5'3.. But now I weigh 160lbs
Does anyone have any experience with this Wii fit plus for post pregnancy weight loss results?

Yes, I think fhe Wii workouts are a great asset. Anything that gives any kind of aerobic activity, plus a healthy diet will get results. You just have to keep at it and drink plenty of water.

Exercise and proper diet are both part of a weight loss program. The Wii Fit is a fun way to exercise, but its not much different from exercise tapes or just doing it on your own. As long as you you are exercising properly.
But exercising alone is not enough and 8 days is not giving it enough time. Its possible you are building muscle that is replacing the fat you are losing.

Actually WiiFit is about as close to a personal trainer that you are going To get outside of a gym. I have had Wii for a few years now and enjoy it so much have expanded the programmes. Tried gyms but they did not fit into my busy schedule so working out at home firsts thing in the morning kicked started my day. I have stayed fit by using Wii, watching what I eat and staying hydrated.
Nothing can compare this to any other system; Wii monitors your progress, corrects your input, weighs you in first thing, shows your BMI (not my favourite!) and best of all it is aerobic based.
