My bathroom ceiling has a small slow dripping leak that comes and goes! I have a ceiling fan that is about two feet from the area in question. I run my fan during the showering phase and for about 15 to 20 min after a shower. I have been in my attic many times looking for leaks in the roof and don't see anything stained on the sheeting. Also have looked at the shingles all over the roof and didn't see any areas of question! Do you have any ideas?

My bathroom ceiling has a small slow dripping leak that comes and goes! Ya got to be more specific then that, Comes and goes when? When you shower? After? Anytime? Does your exhaust fan terminate out the roof or in the attic? Any pipes in the attic? Back to you, Tom

There is not a specific instance to give you! It was dripping over 3 months ago! It was the same situation as it is now! You you questioned my statement as to when does it come and go, and I need to tell you more!
It doesn't have any pattern! I can shower day after day with my fan on and I can run my bathroom sink over and over again and I can flush the ****ter and nothing! Then it just happens without any reason! So as to your needing more info I can't tell you anything else!
Like I said, It has to be condensation but how or why? What can I do?

One more time. Does your exhaust fan terminate out the roof or in the attic? Any pipes in the attic? Back to you, Tom

Speedball1,
The exhaust fan goes out the roof, and is attached and sealed! I have checked it twice! As for pipes there is the pipe fir the toilet!

As for pipes there is the pipe fir the toilet! That would be the vent. Is your leak near where them vent comes into the attic? This doesn't sound like a plumbing problem. You have openings and flashings on your roof in several spots. On the vents, on the chimbly, where the fan exits, Some place you have a leak. I would check each opening for marks or moisture, Good luck, Tom
