Hii.. I had a baby 10 moths ago.. (idont know if that has anything to do with it just letting you know)

So the past couple months maybe. My urine has had a very strong smell and sometimes I have like brown discharge I think it might be spotting. But I don't get my period because I'm on the depo shot. Also I have hpv.. I'm really scared I think it could be cervical cancder. I have all the sympotms. Also. I had a uti when I was pregannt and I still haven't done anything about it.( very stupid I know) and when I smoke my first ciggarette in the moring it makes my stmoach hurt/ and I read online that smoking increases the risk of getting the cancer. I'm reall scared. I have made an apt. To see the doctor Thursday but I'm freakking out. Could this be anything else..

Calm down a little, okay? Your cervix and your bladder/urethra, etc... don't have anything to do with one another. There is one hole where the urine comes out and another hole that the baby comes out. So your concerns about a UTI and cervical cancer don't have anything to do with one another.

Do you notice your urine to smell stronger at different times of the day? In the morning perhaps?

You need to get this UTI taken care of promptly. Just because it is in the bladder does not mean it will stay in the bladder. Untreated UTIs can cause a multitude of problems including but not limited to permanent kidney disease.

Yes it smells very strong in the morning and at night too I think.
What about the brown discharg that's a sign of the c.c?

And yes I know I have an apt. tomorrow.. but even then I won't find out until the tests they do or whatever come back I'm guessing

The brown discharge can be a symptom of the depo as well.

Strong smelling urine can be caused by any number of things from a UTI to perfectly normal urine, as well as the foods you eat, the things you drink and the concentration of the urine... hence strong smelling in the morning because you have not urinated all night.

So I just went to the doctor and I'm even more nervous now because when they did the pap my cervix was bleeding /started to bleed. So.. I don't know but there running tests and whatever. So hopefull ill know soon..

Hey karrisa, I was wondering did you get the results? I had a beautiful baby boy on feb 1 of this year, and every since then my urine been smelling like strong ammonia. I thought it could have been from the catheter that I had when I was in the labor (it was in for about 2 days). But I don't think it would have still smell like this for that long.

Me too what's wrong please tell me. I don't have insurance to get a check up just anytime I want
