I'm looking for a book trilogy where each book is told by a different main character.

In the first book a woman goes home to her small town because she is the only one left to watch over her family home even though she hasn't been back in years and years since something horrible happened there. I think she brings a child with her? She falls in love with a local.

I'm not sure exactly what happens in the next two books, but the mystery is solved in the last one. I think she was being molested/raped by a relative? Some of the family members that knew where murdered I think?

The name of the books all have something in common like freezing point, boiling point. Or hot nights or cold nights or something?
