My gauges, gas and temperature sensor, are not working, so I can't tell how much gas I have or how hot my car is? Also, I don't know how fast, I'm going, what could be the problem(s)? This was after I had a mechanic fix my shifter of the steering cloumn. He said he had nothing to do with it. Is there wires that he must have short circuit on accident or am I dealing with a liar? And are there fuses for these? And he also said that the speed sensor is connected to the trans , is that true? HELP ASAP!?

Check all under-hood and under-dash fuse with a test light or multimeter.

Are there fuses for gauges?

Yes. Test every under-dash fuse--then you don't need to really identify which fuse goes to the gauges.

Hey, thanks txgreasemonkey, I found the blown fuse and the speedometer, odometer, the trip, temp sensor, and the gas gauge works, thanks man!
